Anna Till 

Choreographer

Anna Till, dancer choreographer, b. 1983, Germany, lives and works in Dresden.
She studied „Dance, Context, Choreography“ at HZT Berlin and „Cultural Theory“ at Unversity Lüneburg.
Her own and collaborative choreographic works were presented at Berlin (Sophiensaele, Akademie der Künste), Düsseldorf (tanzhaus NRW), Leipzig (Schaubühne Lindenfels, LOFFT), Dresden (European Centre of the Arts - HELLERAU, Motorenhalle), Kosice (Tabacka Kulturfabrik, Kasarne Kulturpark), Prague (PONEC Theatre), Israel (Room Dances Festival Tel Aviv/ Jerusalem) and Santiago de Chile (NAVE) - amongst others. HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts is an important cooperation partner and workplace in Dresden.

2012 she received the danceweb scholarship together with a scholarship by Goethe-Institut. 2013/14 she realized „undo, redo and repeat“ - a reflection on dance history funded by German Federal Cultural Foundation, which has been presented as performance,  exhibition and website and toured to many venues. 2015 she was choreographer in residence in Kosice (SVK). Since 2016 she takes part in „SHIFTING REALITIES“, an artistic exchange between german and african choreographers organized by HELLERAU Dresden, tanzhaus NRW Düsseldorf and École des Sables (SEN).
